Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant computing
- Develop novel quantum algorithms with 100+ qubit scalability
- Lead cross-functional teams to translate theoretical models into hardware implementations
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants from DARPA/NSF
- Mentor PhD candidates and patent 5+ core technologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years hands-on experience with superconducting qubits or ion traps
- Published author in quantum computing or condensed matter physics
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum assembly languages
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement and decoherence
- Track record of translating theory to experimental results
- US citizenship required for government contract compliance
