Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Conduct advanced research in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Collaborate with engineering teams to prototype quantum-classical hybrid solutions
- Publish findings in leading scientific journals and present at international conferences
- Lead cross-functional projects integrating quantum technologies with AI and machine learning
- Develop secure quantum communication protocols for next-gen infrastructure
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to patent development
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and computational complexity
- Demonstrated ability to publish peer-reviewed research
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, or IonQ)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and innovative mindset
