Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Develop error-correction protocols for quantum processors
- Lead cross-functional teams in simulating quantum systems
- Publish research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Secure patents for proprietary quantum methodologies
- Mentor PhD researchers and junior scientists
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum architectures
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (2020-2026)
- 3+ years of quantum programming experience (Qiskit/Cirq/Q#)
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Strong background in linear algebra and complex analysis
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Rigetti, IonQ)
- Proven ability to secure research grants ($500k+ preferred)
