Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead experimental validation of quantum hardware prototypes at cryogenic temperatures
- Develop error-correction frameworks for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processor architectures
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor PhD researchers and drive quantum literacy initiatives across the organization
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering with 3+ years research
- Proven expertise in quantum circuit design and Qiskit/Cirq programming frameworks
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing conferences (QIP, TQC)
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion quantum systems
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Ability to translate theoretical concepts into experimental implementations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical audiences
