Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms with error-corrected qubits
- Lead interdisciplinary research teams on quantum machine learning applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical frameworks for enterprise-scale problems
- Secure $5M+ in government and private quantum research grants
- Author breakthrough publications in Nature Physics and IEEE journals
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
- Drive commercialization of quantum computing patents
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong background in condensed matter physics or quantum chemistry
- Experience securing federal SBIR/STTR grants
- Security clearance eligibility preferred
