Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation
- Lead experimental research in quantum error correction and coherence
- Collaborate with AI teams to develop quantum-machine learning hybrids

- Secure federal and private quantum research grants
- Mentor PhD candidates and junior researchers
- Advise C-suite on quantum technology commercialization
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience with quantum programming (Q#, Qiskit)
- Expertise in quantum algorithm design (Shor, Grover, VQE)
- Published research in quantum computing or condensed matter
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
- Proven grant-writing success (>$2M secured)
