Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for practical applications in finance, logistics, and drug discovery
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy claims using proprietary hardware
- Develop error-correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum computation
- Collaborate with AI teams to integrate quantum-accelerated machine learning models
- Publish groundbreaking research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Secure $1M+ in government and industry grants for quantum initiatives
- Mentor PhD candidates in our Quantum Futures Fellowship program
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years of research experience
- Proven track record of publishing in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum error correction
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and superconducting qubits
- Deep understanding of quantum complexity theory and BQP implications
- Strong background in machine learning and high-performance computing
- Ability to communicate complex quantum concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
