Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for machine learning and cryptography applications
- Lead experiments with superconducting qubits and quantum annealing systems
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum error correction protocols
- Develop quantum software frameworks compatible with cloud-based quantum services
- Publish peer-reviewed research and present findings at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and drive cross-functional innovation projects
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development or quantum simulation
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Strong background in linear algebra, complex analysis, and statistical mechanics
- Experience with low-level quantum hardware control systems
- Track record of publications in Nature/Science or top-tier conferences
