Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing error-corrected quantum computing architectures
- Publish groundbreaking research in top-tier quantum physics journals
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to translate theoretical models into practical quantum systems
- Secure $5M+ in government and industry research grants
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum education initiatives

Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature/Science or equivalent quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum algorithm design (Shor's, Grover's, VQE, QAOA)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Demonstrated experience with quantum error correction codes (surface, LDPC, etc.)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and complex analysis
