Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for cryptography optimization and drug discovery
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing error-corrected quantum processors
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and present at global tech symposiums
- Collaborate with government agencies on quantum security frameworks for 2026 infrastructure
- Mentor PhD candidates and junior researchers in quantum information theory
- Secure $5M+ in research grants from NSF, DARPA, and private foundations
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum circuit design and error correction
- Publication record in Nature/Science or IEEE Transactions on Quantum Engineering
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, or Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation techniques
- Proven ability to translate complex theoretical models into experimental prototypes
- Security clearance eligibility for government-funded projects
