Responsibilities
- Lead cutting-edge research in quantum error correction and algorithm development
- Design and implement quantum circuits on superconducting and photonic platforms
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum processor architectures
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical machine learning frameworks for 2026 applications
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Secure multi-million dollar research grants from NSF and DARPA
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers and supervise PhD projects
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Strong background in quantum mechanics and linear algebra
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent high-impact journals
