Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams to develop quantum-classical hybrid computing frameworks
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and industry whitepapers
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum error correction protocols
- Develop commercial applications for quantum machine learning and cryptography
- Secure patents for proprietary quantum computing methodologies
- Mentor junior researchers and foster innovation through hackathons and workshops
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in quantum algorithm development or quantum computing research
- Expertise in quantum annealing, QAOA, and VQE methodologies
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Strong publication record in quantum computing or theoretical physics
