Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography, optimization, and machine learning applications
- Lead experimental research in quantum error correction and qubit stability
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise integration
- Publish findings in top-tier journals and present at international quantum computing conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to open-source quantum software ecosystems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to translate theoretical models into practical quantum systems
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent research experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing experience with platforms like IBM Q, Rigetti, or IonQ
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and classical Python/R
- Published research in quantum information theory or quantum algorithms
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence and error correction methodologies
- Experience with high-performance computing environments and parallel processing
- Strong analytical skills with ability to communicate complex concepts to technical/non-technical stakeholders
