Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and cryptography
- Lead quantum error correction research for fault-tolerant systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to prototype quantum processors
- Publish findings in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE conferences
- Mentor PhD researchers and develop quantum curriculum
- Secure $2M+ in government grants for 2026 projects
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 3+ years experience with Qiskit or Cirq frameworks
- Published research in quantum information theory
- Expertise in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Proficiency in Python/C++ with HPC optimization
- Track record of securing NSF/DoD grants
