Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for machine learning applications
- Develop error-corrected quantum computing architectures for commercial deployment
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-resistant cybersecurity solutions
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Secure $1M+ in annual research grants through DARPA and NSF partnerships
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
- Translate theoretical models into practical quantum software frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (post-doc preferred)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Publication record in quantum computing or quantum machine learning
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Proficiency in Python/C++ with optimization for quantum hardware
- Deep understanding of quantum cryptography protocols (BB84, E91)
- Experience with quantum annealing platforms (D-Wave, Rigetti)
