Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Lead experimental research in quantum hardware including qubit stabilization and error correction protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable quantum computing architectures
- Author peer-reviewed publications and present findings at leading quantum computing conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum computing curriculum development
- Stay current with emerging quantum technologies and industry advancements
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related quantum field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and simulation tools
- Strong background in quantum mechanics, linear algebra, and information theory
- Demonstrated track record of published research in top-tier journals/conferences
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion quantum systems preferred
