Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead experimental research on quantum error correction and qubit stabilization techniques
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions into classical computing frameworks
- Develop quantum machine learning models for predictive analytics and pattern recognition
- Document research findings in patents, white papers, and peer-reviewed publications
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum education initiatives
- Stay current with emerging quantum technologies and industry developments
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related quantum field (or equivalent research experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing experience with superconducting or photonic systems
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and information theory
- Publication record in quantum computing or related fields
- Experience with quantum simulation software (QASM, Quil, or similar)
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
- Excellent problem-solving skills and creative thinking abilities
