Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype quantum solutions for real-world problems
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and conferences
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum circuit implementations
- Develop quantum error correction techniques for fault-tolerant computing
- Secure patents for proprietary quantum methodologies
- Mentor junior researchers and interns in quantum principles
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Strong publication record in quantum computing or theoretical physics
- Expertise in linear algebra and probability theory
- Demonstrated experience with cloud-based quantum platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti)
- Ability to translate complex concepts for diverse stakeholders
