Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead cross-functional research teams in developing quantum error correction protocols
- Architect scalable quantum computing systems operating at room temperature
- Collaborate with AI/ML teams to hybrid quantum-classical frameworks
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals and defend patents
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers and drive quantum literacy initiatives
- Develop commercial applications for quantum cryptography and secure communications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent industry experience)
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, QAOA) and circuit optimization
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum assembly languages
- Published research in quantum error correction or fault tolerance
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems or photonic processors
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
- Proven ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
