Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for 2026-scale computational challenges
- Manage cross-functional teams of quantum physicists and software engineers
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and conferences
- Secure $5M+ in government and private research funding annually
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with NASA and DARPA on quantum applications
- Patent at least 3 quantum computing innovations yearly
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years quantum computing research with 20+ publications
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum circuit optimization
- Proven track record of securing federal research grants
- Experience leading international research teams
- Deep knowledge of quantum error correction and topological qubits
- Published work in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
