Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for 2026-era applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum hardware-software integration
- Develop error-correction protocols for practical quantum systems
- Collaborate with MIT and Caltech research partners on quantum supremacy
- Secure $5M+ in federal quantum research grants
- Mentor PhD researchers and publish in Nature/Science journals
- Architect quantum-resistant cybersecurity frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of quantum algorithm development experience
- Published research in quantum computing (minimum 3 papers)
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum frameworks
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Strong track record of securing government research grants
- Experience leading high-stakes technical projects
- Deep understanding of NISQ-era limitations and solutions
