Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for cryptography optimization and material science simulations
- Design and implement error correction protocols for next-gen quantum processors
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum architectures with 100+ qubit stability
- Publish peer-reviewed research in Nature Physics and IEEE journals
- Manage a cross-disciplinary team of quantum physicists and software engineers
- Develop quantum machine learning frameworks for predictive analytics applications
- Secure $2M+ in government and industry research grants annually
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing conferences (QIP, AQIS)
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation techniques
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and superconducting qubits
- Strong background in quantum information theory and topological computing
- Track record of translating theoretical models into practical quantum applications
