Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for next-gen cryptography and optimization systems
- Design scalable quantum hardware architectures targeting 1000+ qubit systems
- Collaborate with AI/ML teams to integrate quantum computing into autonomous frameworks
- Publish groundbreaking research in top-tier journals and industry conferences
- Secure $10M+ in research grants from DARPA, NSF, and private partners
- Mentor cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and data scientists
- Develop patent portfolios for quantum security and machine learning applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 8+ years industry experience
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing architectures
- Strong background in quantum machine learning and hybrid quantum-classical systems
- Demonstrated success leading multi-million dollar R&D initiatives
- Experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Proficiency in high-performance computing environments and GPU acceleration
