Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for cryptography and optimization applications
- Design and implement quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant systems
- Manage cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Secure research grants and publish findings in Nature Physics/Science
- Develop quantum computing frameworks compatible with classical HPC infrastructure
- Conduct quantum supremacy experiments in partnership with national labs
- Advise on quantum security architecture for Fortune 500 clients
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum information theory or quantum algorithms
- Expertise in superconducting qubit systems or photonic quantum processors
- Proven track record of securing NSF/DARPA grants
- Strong background in high-performance computing architectures
- Certification in quantum machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow Quantum)
