Responsibilities
- Design and execute quantum computing experiments using IBM Q and Google Quantum platforms
- Lead R&D initiatives for error correction protocols and qubit stability
- Collaborate with MIT and Caltech on quantum AI integration projects
- Develop patent-pending quantum algorithms for cryptography and optimization
- Mentor a team of 5 quantum physicists and software engineers
- Present findings at IEEE Quantum Week and Nature Quantum conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum computing
- Expertise in superconducting qubit fabrication and cryogenics
- Proven track record of securing NSF or DARPA grants
- Fluency in Python, C++, and quantum assembly languages
- Experience leading cross-disciplinary research teams
