Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for NISQ-era and fault-tolerant systems
- Design quantum error correction protocols for scalable hardware
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum-circuit performance
- Publish research in top-tier journals and conferences (QIP, IEEE Quantum)
- Secure government and private-sector R&D funding
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information science
- Develop roadmaps for quantum advantage implementation in enterprise solutions
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Publication record in quantum information science (arXiv, Nature Quantum)
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
