Responsibilities
- Architect and implement quantum algorithms for complex problem-solving in cryptography and AI optimization
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and software engineers to develop quantum-resistant security protocols
- Design scalable quantum computing frameworks compatible with classical computing ecosystems
- Secure $5M+ in research grants through NSF and DoD partnerships
- Publish findings in Nature Physics and IEEE journals
- Develop patent-pending quantum error correction methodologies
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science programs
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 8+ years research experience
- Proven track record publishing in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum machine learning frameworks
- Experience securing government/industrial research grants exceeding $3M
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Demonstrated ability to lead international research consortia
- Patents in quantum computing or related fields preferred
