Responsibilities

- Publish 3+ peer-reviewed papers in Nature/Science journals annually
- Establish industry partnerships with Fortune 500 companies for pilot implementations
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
- Drive patent strategy for proprietary quantum error correction methods
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years hands-on experience with superconducting qubits or trapped-ion systems
- Proven track record securing $5M+ in research funding
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance protocols
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Experience leading technical teams of 10+ researchers
- Clearance for DoD/NASA quantum security projects
