Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for complex optimization problems
- Lead cross-functional teams of quantum physicists and software engineers
- Develop fault-tolerant quantum computing protocols for 2026 deployment
- Secure $5M+ in research grants from NSF and DARPA
- Collaborate with IBM, Google, and Rigetti on quantum hardware integration
- Publish 3+ peer-reviewed papers annually in Nature/Science journals
- Commercialize quantum solutions through industry partnerships
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 8+ years of quantum algorithm development experience
- Published work in top quantum computing conferences (QIP, TQC)
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization
- Proven track record of securing government research funding
