Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Design error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with experimental physicists to calibrate qubit coherence times
- Implement hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks
- Publish research in Nature Physics/Quantum Information journals
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum circuit design
- Secure $5M+ in DARPA grants for quantum supremacy projects
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years experience with Qiskit, Cirq, or Q# frameworks
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Expertise in machine learning for quantum state tomography
- Familiarity with superconducting qubit architectures
- Strong background in linear algebra and Hilbert spaces
- Patent portfolio in quantum computing technology
