Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for enterprise-scale optimization problems
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to mitigate qubit decoherence in cryogenic systems
- Develop error-correction protocols achieving 99.9% fidelity in quantum circuits
- Create simulation frameworks for quantum machine learning models
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
- Lead open-source quantum computing initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS + 5yrs experience considered)
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Published work in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion quantum processors
- Strong background in linear algebra and group theory
- Patent portfolio in quantum technologies preferred
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts into business applications
