Responsibilities
- Architect fault-tolerant quantum computing systems for industrial-scale deployment by 2026
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead quantum error correction protocol design achieving <10^-9 logical qubit error rates
- Partner with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors with 100+ qubit coherence
- Establish quantum security frameworks for post-quantum cryptography integration
- Mentor quantum engineering teams while publishing 2+ papers/year in Nature/Science
- Drive quantum cloud platform architecture supporting 10K+ concurrent users
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design, QEC codes, and quantum error mitigation
- Proven track record publishing in top-tier quantum computing conferences (QIP, IEEE QCE)
- Mastery of quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and HPC environments
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and microwave control electronics
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical quantum algorithms into practical implementations
- Strong background in quantum information theory and topological quantum computing
