Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum processor architectures with error correction for 2026-era applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical frameworks for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead integration of quantum systems with classical HPC infrastructure
- Research and implement novel quantum algorithms for cryptography, materials science, and AI
- Collaborate with hardware teams to define quantum control system specifications
- Present quantum roadmaps to C-suite and external stakeholders
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum programming best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with 8+ years experience)
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proven track record with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in quantum error correction codes (surface, LDPC, etc.)
- Experience with quantum hardware integration (superconducting, trapped ion, photonic)
- Published research in top quantum computing conferences/journals
- Demonstrated ability to translate quantum theory into practical implementations
