Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and photonic systems
- Develop error-correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum operations
- Create hybrid quantum-classical workflows for enterprise optimization problems
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and software engineers to prototype quantum applications
- Collaborate with academic institutions on next-generation quantum materials
- Document quantum algorithms and architecture specifications for patent applications
- Stay current on quantum hardware advancements and emerging industry standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant circuit design
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and simulation frameworks
- Strong background in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE) and complexity theory
- Experience with cryogenic systems and quantum hardware integration
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into scalable implementations
