Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for commercial deployment
- Develop error-correction algorithms achieving 99.9% fidelity in qubit operations
- Lead integration of quantum-classical hybrid computing systems
- Author patents for novel quantum gate optimization techniques
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum physics principles
- Present research findings at IEEE Quantum Week and similar forums
- Collaborate with industry partners on quantum cloud infrastructure
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience with quantum circuit design and simulation
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum error correction
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum assembly languages
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware integration
- Expertise in machine learning for quantum state tomography
- Track record of securing $1M+ in R&D funding
- Strong patents portfolio (minimum 3 granted)
