Responsibilities
- Architect quantum algorithms and error correction protocols for real-world applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Optimize qubit coherence times and gate fidelity at cryogenic temperatures
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for commercial deployment
- Develop quantum machine learning frameworks for predictive analytics
- Partner with hardware teams to bridge theoretical models with physical implementations
- Secure quantum-resistant cryptography systems for enterprise clients
- Present breakthrough findings at premier industry conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of quantum algorithm development with demonstrated publications
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of superconducting qubit or trapped-ion systems
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and quantum control systems
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and complexity classes
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals preferred
