Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and machine learning applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical architectures leveraging Q# and IBM Quantum Experience
- Create error mitigation protocols for NISQ-era quantum processors
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and data scientists
- Conduct research on quantum supremacy applications in cryptography and materials science
- Document quantum system architectures and publish findings in peer-reviewed journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with 5+ years experience)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience with quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability, and computational complexity
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
