Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for 2026 deployment targets
- Develop quantum error correction protocols achieving 99.9% gate fidelity
- Lead integration of quantum-classical hybrid computing systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams on cryogenic control systems and qubit stability
- Research and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Present architectural blueprints to C-suite executives and technical stakeholders
- Drive innovation through quarterly quantum computing hackathons
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on quantum architecture design experience
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Published research in quantum error correction or fault tolerance
- Expertise in superconducting qubit systems or photonic quantum computing
- Strong background in topological quantum computing concepts
- Experience leading technical teams of 5+ engineers
- Fluency in Python, C++, and quantum circuit optimization
