Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for 2026-era applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Research and integrate emerging quantum hardware technologies (superconducting, photonic, topological)
- Develop error correction protocols and fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with industry partners to deploy quantum solutions in finance, healthcare, and logistics
- Create technical documentation and present findings to executive stakeholders
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and drive innovation through R&D initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum architecture design with proven quantum algorithm implementation
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Quil)
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and computational complexity
