Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum architectures targeting 2026 deployment milestones
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for 1000+ qubit systems
- Lead quantum algorithm optimization for pharmaceutical and materials science applications
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate quantum processors with classical supercomputing
- Establish quantum security frameworks for post-quantum cryptography standards
- Present quantum roadmaps to C-suite executives and government stakeholders
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years experience in quantum algorithm design or quantum hardware development
- Published research in quantum error correction or fault-tolerant computing
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, or other quantum programming frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical projects with cross-functional teams
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation techniques
- Experience securing government quantum research grants
- Expertise in quantum machine learning applications
