Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum circuit architectures for 100+ qubit systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for industrial applications
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Implement quantum error correction protocols for practical deployment
- Research and integrate emerging quantum technologies (topological qubits, photonics)
- Collaborate with NASA on quantum communication protocols for deep space missions
- Present architectural blueprints to C-suite executives and venture partners
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with 5+ years experience)
- 3+ years designing quantum computing architectures or quantum algorithms
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Experience with superconducting qubits or ion trap systems
- Publication record in quantum computing or theoretical physics
- Strong background in error correction and fault tolerance
- Expertise in high-performance computing and parallel processing
- Certification in quantum hardware management (e.g., IBM Q Experience)
