Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation
- Conduct pioneering research in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum-coherent processor designs
- Develop quantum security protocols for next-generation encryption standards
- Present architectural blueprints to C-suite executives and venture partners
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in cutting-edge development practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or advanced algorithm development
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum machine learning frameworks
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals (arXiv, Nature)
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, AWS Braket)
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex quantum concepts into actionable strategies
- Strong background in superconducting or photonic quantum systems
