Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and photonic systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum error correction protocols
- Research and integrate emerging quantum technologies (e.g., topological qubits, quantum annealing)
- Develop quantum security frameworks for post-quantum cryptography applications
- Present architectural blueprints to executive stakeholders and technical boards
- Drive innovation through quantum-computing-as-a-service (QCaaS) platform development
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with 8+ years experience considered)
- Proven expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum machine learning frameworks
- Experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and simulators
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
