Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum computing systems using superconducting qubits and photonic processors
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for enterprise applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum error correction protocols
- Optimize quantum circuit performance on hardware like IBM Quantum and Rigetti systems
- Design quantum security frameworks for next-gen cryptography
- Collaborate with academia to publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals
- Mentor junior quantum engineers on emerging quantum programming languages
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Proficiency in quantum circuit optimization techniques
- Experience with quantum hardware integration (cryogenics, microwave control systems)
- Strong background in machine learning and classical HPC systems
- Proven track record of leading quantum research projects
- Security clearance preferred for government-funded initiatives
