Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum circuit architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit coherence and gate fidelity
- Create quantum algorithms for machine learning and optimization challenges
- Lead research in topological quantum computing approaches
- Document quantum system specifications and integration guidelines
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in emerging paradigms
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with 5+ years experience)
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Experience with quantum error correction codes (surface, LDPC)
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Strong background in superconducting or trapped-ion qubit systems
- Proficiency in high-performance computing environments
- Experience with quantum algorithm design for NISQ-era devices
- Understanding of quantum-classical hybrid computing models
