Responsibilities
- Architect fault-tolerant quantum computing systems for enterprise-scale applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum algorithms and error-correction protocols
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize qubit coherence and gate fidelity
- Design hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for real-world deployment
- Drive innovation in quantum machine learning and cryptography solutions
- Present breakthrough findings at industry conferences and academic symposiums
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum theory and system design best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum error correction
- Deep knowledge of quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Strong background in cryogenic systems and superconducting qubit manipulation
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, AWS Braket, Azure Quantum)
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Exceptional problem-solving skills for complex quantum system challenges
- Ability to translate quantum concepts into business value propositions
