Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for commercial and research applications
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers in quantum system development
- Develop error-correction protocols and quantum algorithms to optimize computational performance
- Collaborate with industry partners to identify and prioritize quantum computing use cases for 2026 market readiness
- Contribute to quantum hardware specifications and integration strategies
- Publish research in leading quantum computing journals and present at international conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in quantum algorithm design and quantum circuit optimization
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing principles
- Experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Quil)
- Strong background in superconducting or trapped-ion quantum systems
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical projects and mentor junior researchers
