Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures targeting 1000+ qubit systems by 2026
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical integration frameworks for enterprise applications
- Lead quantum error correction protocol optimization for real-world deployment
- Collaborate with materials science teams on cryogenic system engineering
- Establish quantum security protocols for next-gen communication networks
- Drive open-source quantum software ecosystem development
- Present quantum roadmaps to C-suite executives and government partners
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Engineering, or related field with 8+ years industry experience
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum error correction or topology
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Proven track record of designing scalable quantum systems
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation strategies
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and superconducting qubit fabrication
- Strong background in machine learning for quantum algorithm optimization
