Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for commercial applications
- Develop error-correction protocols to achieve quantum advantage by 2026
- Collaborate with physics PhDs to optimize qubit coherence and gate fidelity
- Create hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for pharmaceutical and materials science
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-resistant security systems
- Publish research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Secure $10M+ in quantum computing grants from government and private sector
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience with quantum circuit design or quantum algorithms
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Published research in quantum computing or topological quantum systems
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Experience with cryogenic systems and superconducting qubit manipulation
- Track record of leading quantum computing projects with measurable outcomes
