Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures with >1000 qubit coherence
- Develop quantum algorithms for machine learning optimization and simulation
- Collaborate with hardware teams to mitigate quantum decoherence effects
- Create fault-tolerant quantum error correction protocols
- Lead cross-functional teams in implementing quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Research and prototype novel quantum materials and control systems
- Secure patents and publish breakthrough research in IEEE Nature journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience in quantum algorithm development or quantum hardware design
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Expertise in cryogenic systems and superconducting circuits
- Experience leading R&D teams in high-stakes tech environments
- Deep understanding of quantum supremacy benchmarks and NISQ limitations
